The French Aerospace Lab, ONERA, and the German Aerospace Center, DLR, are pleased to announce the 11th ONERA-DLR Aerospace Symposium, ODAS 2011. This Symposium is alternatively held in France and in Germany.
Its aim is to gather PhD students and “young scientists” (less than 35 years old) from ONERA and DLR, in order to foster scientific and personal exchanges between both research establishments. The attendance is limited to ONERA and DLR speakers and close colleagues, in order to keep a workshop format and spirit; some outside speakers can be invited in order to provide an external input on the topic chosen for the Symposium.
ODAS 2011 will be devoted to “Civil Transport Aircraft Research” in all relevant disciplines. In fact, this topic represents more than ten years of active and fruitful co-operation between ONERA and DLR.
The ODAS program will be established on the basis of abstracts submitted to Alain Appriou (alain.appriou@onera.fr). These abstracts of less than 500 words will be illustrated by typical results and must fulfil the joint template.
Proceedings of the papers will be edited as a USB key, available at the Symposium.
The “ODAS Award 2011” will be delivered to the:
"Best paper prepared and presented by a Young Scientist”.
The main relevant criteria for this Award are the technical content and the scientific argumentation of the paper, its clarity and originality (with innovation aspects) and finally the quality of the oral presentation. |
