Le deuxième sommet IFAR s'est tenu dans le cadre du salon du Bourget, et à l'invitation de l'Onera les 18 et 19 juin à Mery-sur-Oise. Les participants représentaient les dirigeants de 20 organisations de recherche en aéronautique au niveau mondial.
FAR est la nouvelle plateforme internationale des organisations de recherche aéronautique nationales. IFAR a été fondée en 2010.
IFAR est un forum de coopération volontaire pour l'échange entre les organismes de recherche aéronautique en vue de la demande croissante de R & T au niveau mondial. IFAR vise à soutenir ses Membres dans la mise en oeuvre de leurs objectifs de recherche.
Le deuxième Ssommet IFAR a eu lieu dans le cadre du Salon du Bourget et sur invitation de l'ONERA à Méry-sur-Oise les 18 et 19 Juin 2011. Les participants représentaient les chefs ou les représentants de haut niveau à partir de 20 organisations de recherche aéronautique dans le monde entier. Avec cinq nouveaux membres, le nombre des organisations participantes au IFAR est passé à 21 (voir liste ci-dessous).
