Turbojet LEXIQUEdiscs LEXIQUE are rotating parts subjected to high centrifugal stresses and temperatures up to 700°C. It is the case for some discs of the M88-2 engine of the Rafale aircraft.

The most highly stressed discs are made from nickel-base superalloy LEXIQUE powders. The components obtained in this way are characterised by a very homogeneous microstructure and very uniform mechanical properties.

The powders are produced by spraying a liquid alloy either by an argon gas jet or by centrifugation.
