Applied Aerodynamics

Facilities

The Applied Aerodynamics department deploys a number of facilities in Lille and Meudon. Rounding out these resources are the wind tunnels belonging to other sections of the Computing, Engineering and Testing Facilities Division (GMT, mainly Modane and Fauga-Mauzac), the Fundamental and Experimental Aerodynamics department (DAFE, Meudon) .

The DAAP also calls on Onera's computing facilities, including the Cronos supercomputer.

• Water Tunnels
• Flow Metrology
• PIV or Particle Image Velocimetry
• Interferometry
