L1 Subsonic Wind-Tunnel "PQR" Dynamic Setup for Pitch and Yaw
Dynamic setup for pitch and yaw
This setup consists of an aluminum cradle fitted with a rotary hydraulic motor at one end and with a bearing at the other end. An arm-sting assembly is articulated between these two bearings. A slaving device makes it possible to generate movements of the harmonic (forced oscillations) or uniform (roll off) type, or in the form of preprogrammed laws. This setup is particularly designed for the analysis of pitch and yaw dynamics. The degrees of freedom are the 3 Euler angles. Only the pitch rotation is motorized.
