Cold atom devices

On the strength of its experience in quantum optics, accelerometry, space missions, and in the time-frequency domain, Onera has set off on the adventure of putting cold atoms technology to the service of national defense and the space field. The research themes concern time measurement, inertial measurement on the ground and in space, and device improvement, notably in the field of lasers:

• physics of cold atom devices
• inertial measurements on the ground
• cold atoms in space
• onboard laser sources
