OH concentrations and temperatures computed by the MSD aero-energetic code
Objective
To develop a set of tools for computing the IR signature of the plume for each type of missile in consideration of its flight conditions (altitude, speed).
Onera’s contribution
- Ability to conduct a pluridisciplary approach involving several Onera departments (combustion, fluid dynamics, radiative transfer) and CNRS laboratories
- Numerical simulation of two cases representative of reality
- Conducting two experimental campaigns using Onera’s test facilities.
