For its calculation activities, the department uses its own considerable resources and makes extensive use of Onera's powerful NEC SX5 and NEC-SX6 computers. The Onera also owns or has access to, via cooperative agreements, parallel computing platforms, reflecting the trends in industry in terms of high performance computing resources.

The aeroacoustic testing relies heavily on the use of the Cepra19 anechoic wind tunnel installed at the CEPr and the Martel test bench at the CEAT in Poitiers.
