Objectives
This theme concerns the study of methods, algorithms and tools for the description, design, architecture and analysis of complex information processing systems. The aim is consistent processing of the data and information in these complex systems from measurements right through to the decision making level. These questions are tackled when problems posed in the real world are taken as the point of departure.
