Modeling and Information ProcessingM-PHY - Physical MeasurementsObjectives
ContributionOnera, a multidisciplinary research organization in the aerospace field, brings together many research teams working in widely varied fields of physics, in particular experimental physics: materials science, structures, optics, aerodynamics, etc. Today, the experimental process in all these fields includes an increasingly important numerical data processing stage for formatting, analyzing and interpreting the results. Increasingly frequently, the optimum appreciation of these experiments requires large investments by experimental physicists in data processing, including the most theoretical aspects. The M-PHY activity in the DTIM aims to support and enrich that investment. To do this, special links have been made with some of these teams in order to give them the benefit of recent methodological developments in signal and image processing, and also to develop original processing techniques with them dedicated to certain experiments.
