    • Needs for sensor fusion.
      The purpose of this brief talk is to stress the importance of a better understanding of the mechanisms of perceptual fusion within the human brain: this will give insights for new arrangements of devices in machine to man multi-channel communication (virtual reality), and also for mastering the computing issues of sensor fusion when operating on a largely distributed scale (incurring random communication delays,…) .
