Testing
- Measurement of normal acoustic impedance and absorbed power of flat porous materials (liners) with grazing flow by a non intrusive measurement technique (Laser Doppler Velocimetry).
- Database to validate aero-acoustic models: mean and acoustic velocities, pressure, intensity and impedance fields in high speed flow.

Facilities: Wind tunnel with anechoic outlet, LDV (2D).
- Samples:
- Honeycomb, rigid foam, fibre material etc. (local or non-local reaction behaviour).
- Test size 30 x 150 mm², maximum thickness 100 mm.
- Flow conditions: M < 0.6, 300°C.
- Acoustic excitation by loudspeakers: > 140 dB (315 - 5000 Hz).
