Advantages
FERMAT/ SE-RAY-EM is an asymptotic modeling suite in near or/and far field interaction of an EM wave and its environment (up to mm wavelength) predicting reliable electromagnetic fields and including:
- Atmospheric effects taken into account
- Modeling antenna diagram both in transmitting/receiving modes
- Roughness surface management.
- Radar modeling (transfer function and wave form)
Simulation code
A solution to every requirement:
- The commercial simulation code SE-RAY-EM is continuously upgraded, maintained and distributed by OKTAL SE, www.oktal-se.fr with following aspects:
- Can deal with complex objects, complex environments and complex targets in a complex 3D scene
- Can deal with OpenFlight, OpenInvertor, DXF, VRML and 3DS CAD formats
- Scenarios creation and management tools
- Can handle mobile objects and mobile sensors in the scene
- « Forward » fast and modular ray-tracing method
- « A symptotic » electromagnetic model for radio wave propagation, reflection, scattering, diffraction and transmission
- Dedicated models for clutter materials including speckle effects
- « Phase textures » to simulate local rough surfaces
- A complete and well documented validation process
- Well documented physical formulations
- FERMAT, a matching to your needs can also customised by studies jointly by ONERA and OKTAL SE
