The Mach number test envelope of the ONERA S2MA transonic and supersonic wind tunnel will soon be continuous up to Mach number 3,1.
The gap which was existing until now, between Mach number 1,3 and Mach number 1,5 will be filled.
The definitive implementation of the tunnel modifications, and the associated validation tests over the complete Mach number range of the wind tunnel have been done during the first semester of 2016.
