DAAA - Aerodynamics Aeroelasticity Acoustics

Missions

The DAAA (Aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, acoustics department) prepare technological responses for the benefit of industry to improve the Aerodynamics, Aeroelasticity and Acoustics performance of aircraft, and address issues of competitiveness as well as societal, environmental and defence needs. This work opens up new paths of research and paves the way for the technologies of tomorrow. The department also lends its expertise to the public authorities.

The 14 research units of the DAAA carry out study and research into modelling and numerical & experimental simulations, according to 11 prioritized scientific topics. The department draws on the experimental and digital technical resources available at the three of Chatillon, Meudon and Lille.
